Introducing Community Program @ Masjid Noor

“Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned.” (The Holy Qur’an, 2:245)

The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: “Whoever is working to fulfill his brother’s need, know that Allah will be taking care of his needs.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî (2442)]

Islam gives utter importance to having a good character and performing good deeds. Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) taught us to carry out good deeds, no matter how small they are. It has been said that the most beloved of people to Allah (Subhana wa tala) is he who brings most benefit, and the most beloved of deeds to Allah the Mighty, the Magnificent, is that we bring happiness to a fellow Muslim, or relieve him of distress, or pay off his debt or take away hunger from him. Whoever holds back his anger, Allah will cover his faults, and whoever suppresses his fury while being able to execute it, Allah will fill his heart with satisfaction on the Day of Judgement. Whoever walks with his brother in need until he establishes that for him, Allah (Subhana wa tala) will establish his feet firmly on the day when all feet shall slip. Indeed, bad character ruins good deeds. May Alla (Subhana wa tala) bless us with the ability to do good deeds. Ameen.

The Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: "Every Muslim has to give in charity." The people asked, "O Allah's Prophet! If someone has nothing to give, what will he do?" He said, "He should work with his hands and benefit himself and also give in charity (from what he earns)." The people further asked, "If he cannot find even that?" He replied, "He should help the needy who appeal for help." Then the people asked, "If he cannot do that?" He replied, "Then he should perform good deeds and keep away from evil deeds and this will be regarded as charitable deeds." (Bukhari)
